The competition ladder is heating up with Garry maintaining his position in the top 10, while Nathan Buckley is quietly moving up, sitting in the top 20.

But it's not over yet!

The Great Specky Magee Footy Tipping Competition

Congratulations to Sally Bond who won round one of the Specky Magee Footy Tipping competition. Sally blitzed the field correctly tipping 8 winners in what was a stunning start to the tipping season. Sadly the season didn't start quite so well for our resident footy experts Garry Lyon and Felice Arena. Garry currents sits at 110th position on the leader board, while Felice is back at 361. Better luck next week boys!

Plans for Book 7 Announced

For all those die-hard Specky Magee fans out there, word on the footy field is that Felice and Garry have begun writing the next instalment of Specky Magee adventures.

That's right folks! You can expect to read more footy highs and lows from Specky in 2009 because Book 7 in the series is underway!

Sources say the exact publication date is unknown yet, but keep looking at this website for more news and clues about book 7 in the Specky Magee series.

And in other Specky-tacular news - we can reveal that there is even bigger Specky news on the horizon. Our team of journalists are working on finding out all the gossip and all will be revealed soon!
